Edward James Mitchell

Was born of Edward C. & Marion W. Mitchell on March 20th, 1949, in Clintonville, Wisconsin and nick named Rusty. Graduated from Clintonville Senior High School in Clintonville, Wisconsin in June of 1967. Attended the Fox Valley Technical Institute in Appleton, Wisconsin graduating in 1968. He was married and had a son Jamison. In 1971 through 1975 he served his community and country as a Law Enforcement Officer with the Shawano County Sheriffs Department continuing his education in the field of law enforcement at Wausau and Green Bay Wisconsin leaving in 1975 as a Sergeant. In 1976 he took over the family business as a Heating Contractor. He married Teddie Minshell in 1987 and their combined family wealth are three children  Natalie, Jamison,  Kevin and seven Grand Children Dylan, Breanna, Kailene, Annelies, Brinlee, Elias and Lorelei who fill his life with delight.

His first experience with the Masonic Fraternity came as a Charter Member of the Clintonville Chapter Order of DeMolay. As a senior member of DeMolay he helped in the revitalizing of the Green Bay Chapter Order of DeMolay. He was Initiated an Entered Apprentice October 20th, 1974 in Clintonville Lodge No. 197 F. & A. M., Passed to the Degree of Fellow Craft April 12th, 1976 & Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on May10th, 1976.
Affiliated with Shawano Lodge No. 170 F. &A.M. and served as Master in 2005 and 2009 holding a Perpetual Membership, and is proud to be a Plural member of Washington Lodge No. 21 Green Bay, Wisconsin          
During a York Rite Festival held on June 7th, 1977 he was Exalted a Royal Arch Mason in Clintonville Chapter No. 103 Royal Arch Masons & Created a Knight Templar by Clintonville Commandery No. 44 in Clintonville, Wisconsin.  Affiliated to Marinette Commandery No.26 & Ivanhoe Commandery No. 24 Milw. WI.  A member of the Past Commanders Association of Wisconsin. Currently serving as Grand Junior Warden of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of the State of Wisconsin for the year ending in June of 2010
On March 3rd, 1980 he was Greeted a Select Master in Antigo Council No. 28, Royal and Select Masters in Antigo, Wisconsin. Receiving the Super Excellent Degree in Madison Wisconsin in 2008, Received the Order of ISH-SODI June, 18th, 2009.  Currently serving as Grand Marshall of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of the State of Wisconsin for the year ending in June of 2010.
He served as High Priest of Clintonville Chapter 103 in 1980, Served Antigo Council No. 28 as Thrice Illustrious Master in 1981 and after affiliating with Palestine Commandery No. 20 served as Commander in 2006 and again in 2007.
Received the honorary degree of Thrice Illustrious Master June 14th, 2007 at Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Received the degrees of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite on May 3rd, 1980 in the Valley of Green Bay and is a Life Member. Serving as Most Wise Master of the Valley of Green Bay Chapter of Rose Croix for the term of 2007-2008
Received into the Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine in Tripoli Shrine in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the fall 0f 1980. Affiliated to Beja Shrine in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Currently serving as Potentate for its Divan.
On June 19th, 2007 he was received into the Order of the Red Cross of Constantine in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Inducted into the Wisconsin Priory No. 16 - Knights of the York Cross of Honor on September 15th, 2007.
Past Vice President of the board of directors for the Northeast Wisconsin Masonic Center of Green Bay, Wisconsin
Inducted as a Holy Royal Arch Nights Templar Priest in 2007

Other Masonic affiliations of note: Past Associate Guardian of Jobs Daughters Bethel No.26, where he received a Grand Officer appointment for the Grand Guardian Council of Jobs Daughters in Wisconsin. Past member of the Order of Eastern Star Clintonville, Wisconsin and also held the position of Secretary for the United Masonic Board for DeMolay in Wisconsin and Past President of the Shawano Shrine Club 2006.
